I have a policy of not talking bad about other wedding professionals but I thought I should let people know the truth in this case. Although they were really cute, I would not hire this photography team. They were such divas. Just kept taking pictures of each other. They also continually shot up people's noses. Very unprofessional! Be warned!

It never fails. There's always one. Usually he (or she, Aunt Jane does it too) is wielding a $150 point-and-shoot camera, or better yet a disposable camera from Drug Mart (click.. zip, zip, zip). But there is one sure way to spot them.... they are always standing in front of ME.

Susy has had people literally push her out of the way during cake cuttings.

We have seen all kinds of toasts. Some funny. Some embarrassing. Some just plain wrong!
Although we have heard probably 300 or more toasts, we have never been used as part of a joke during one, until now.
I am glad that Scott & Meghan have a sense of humor.

For all your animal lovers out there, June is national pet adoption month. We happen to love animals and we have rescued three of our own. We adopted our dog Lucy 5 years ago from our local pound. We adopted our cats, Soafie & Samson, 3 years ago from a feral cat rescue group in Cincinnati. Our pets definitely play a role here at 2nd Mile Productions. Lucy keeps us in shape with all of the walks and the cats keep us entertained, although that job is tiring sometimes.

It is hard when good things come to an end. I only started watching "The Sopranos" at the beginning of last season. I was hooked from then. In tribute to the series finale this coming Sunday, I thought I would post a video I made last year.
A little back story to the video. Susy and I have been blessed to have amazing friends in Shaun and Missy. We get together with them two or three times a week. Last year in the spring we decide to see how solid our friendship was by taking a vacation with them. We decided on the Smoky Mountains.

Susy and I are not real big on celebrating "big days". Birthdays usually pass by with a big hug and maybe a trip to Carrabas.
We spent yesterday helping out Susy's parents. She helped her mom clean out the inside of the family cabin while I helped her dad stain the outside. Imagine our suprise when Susy's mom emailed us today and to say Happy Anniversary! Which was yesterday. Susy said, "Oh Yeah! Yesterday was our anniversary!" So we shared a big hug and then got back to work.
So here is to 9 awesome years and 50 more. Love you Suz!

Sorry that the posting has been slow recently. Trust me, things will pick up around here in a month or so. The wedding season is upon us and we are getting close to launching a huge project that I am excited about but can't say anything about. hehe
To tide you over, here is a great audio clip that came about by mistake. As I was editing a video, I put a slow motion effect on the video which also applied it to the audio. I did not realize this had happened until I previewed the video and this is what I heard.
