Matt & Suzi's Same Day Edit
With all the weddings that we see, it is rare that I get choked up. Matt & Suzi's reception was one of the exceptions.
Suzi's dad passed away when she was 16. She told me when we met that this affected her church and her community very deeply. During the toasts that evening, Suzi's brother Bob gave a very moving toast.

Suzi wanted to honor her dad in some way. We discussed showing some photos of her and her dad during her Same Day Edit. I asked her if she would like to say a few words about her dad and she thought that would be great way to honor him and the role he played in her life.
After dinner, it was time for the Same Day Edit. Matt & Suzi had kept this a secret from everyone.

Matt & Suzi are a great couple. You can tell when they look at each other that they are truly in love. It was great to get to spend an awesome day with them. At the end of the night, Suzi thanked us and said, "You guys are so nice. Matt and I want to be your friends, in real life." That is one of the best compliments I have ever received.

Thanks so very much for the outstanding work that you did with capturing Suzi and Matt's day. Obviously memories are quite important to our family, and your work up to and including the Same Day Edit makes me feel more than confidant that the memories of this day will be properly and professionally preserved for generations.
You have been a joy to work with, and I share Suzi and Matt's sentiment about continuing the friendship.

Brian and Susy...as we sit here almost one month after our wedding watching our same day edit, we still feel it is as breathtaking and beautiful as the moment we watched it during our reception. If love had a picture, it would be every moment you captured on our wedding day. We are overwhelmed by your talents and truly grateful you were part of our lives on 7-7-07.
