Wedding Videography Blog
Ransom Call
April 28th, 2007
Sorry that the posting has been slow recently. Trust me, things will pick up around here in a month or so. The wedding season is upon us and we are getting close to launching a huge project that I am excited about but can't say anything about. hehe
To tide you over, here is a great audio clip that came about by mistake. As I was editing a video, I put a slow motion effect on the video which also applied it to the audio. I did not realize this had happened until I previewed the video and this is what I heard.

Isn't it amazing how a beautiful moment in the ceremony can turn into a scarey ransom call.

For those of you that are regular readers, you may notice a new link at the bottom of the posts that says "Share This".
I sometimes find a blog post that I would love to share or bookmark but don't feel like going through the steps to do this. This leads to me have a lot of tabs and browser windows open with sites that I want to look at later or show to a friend. I decided that this was not going to happen with my blog.
I know that many of you have said that you have been sharing our blog posts with your friends and family. I have made this even easier for you to do. If you click on the "Share This" link at the bottom of post you can easily bookmark a post on any of the social bookmarking sites that exist. Click on "E-mail" and you will be able to send the blog link to a friend via email. Just fill in a little info and click "Send It". We do not save this information so you don't have to worry about your friends receiving spam.
Let me know how this works for you or if there is any way we can improve this new functionality.
Josh & Amanda
April 4th, 2007
First of all, I would like to thank Josh and Amanda. What a great couple. When you look at them, you can tell they are completely in love.
Their ceremony was held at Trinity United Church of Christ in Canton. Brandon from Brandon's Photography captured the still images for the day. We stopped in downtown Canton for photos before heading to the Canton Civic Center for their reception.
I would also like to thank Josh and Amanda for giving me some extra time to experiment with a new editing style. Their recap and video are definitely one of my favorites. Take and look and let me know what you think by leaving a comment.

Can You Suggest A Song?
March 27th, 2007
I get this question a lot.
This year you have three choices. One - You can pick all the music for your video. Two - You can pick a few songs that you would like to hear and let us pick the rest. Or Three - Let us pick all the songs for your video. Of course if you want us to pick any of the songs for your video we will try to get to know your taste in music and pick songs that go along with the style of wedding that you had and the feeling that surrounded it.
If you need some suggestions for songs here are a few to look at (Clicking on these links will launch the iTunes Store):
Lip Gloss Is My Savior
March 25th, 2007
Every time the phone rings, I am always interested to see who is on the other side. Saturday afternoon it was the associate prooducer of the Rachael Ray Show. He wanted us to go to the local town of Minerva to get some footage of a woman who had written in to the show for a segment about the importance of make-up in her life.

Susy and I had a great time. It will be interesting to see what the editors of the show choose to use. We are sending in almost 45 minutes of footage. I will let you know when the segment will be aired.

It is so much fun to be a videographer. You get to meet some really cool people and be a part of their lives, if only for two hours.
By the way, if you are ever in Minerva, check out the skating rink. The couple owns it!
