Even though Jason & Liz were married in 2010 we considered it part of our 2009 season since we now have some time off. What better way to end the season than with a great couple and some of our favorite wedding professionals.

Come to the Ohio Bridal Soiree

Tricia Dever from Always Eventful and Genevieve Nisly Photography are proud to announce the first ever Northeast Ohio Bridal Soiree! This is an opportunity for savvy brides to meet and talk with some of the areas top wedding professionals in a relaxed setting while being inspired by the lavish displays of local talent.
I will be presenting a 15min mini-class about "The Story of Your Day", talking about videography today and what to look for and what questions to ask when choosing a videographer. I will be premiering my new demo video during the class, so come and watch.

Ty & Tiffany's Same Day Edit

Susy and I always say that one of the reason we love our jobs is that we work from home. "Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow" is what we usually sing in the winter. When you have no place to go you don't mind when the streets turn to ice.
Of course the first snowy day we have in Ohio this year... we have a wedding. But even though the roads were slick and slushy I was glad for the powdery stuff yesterday. The snow almost became another member of the bridal party. It really made for some great shots.

Ryan & Paula's Same Day Edit

I am used to getting emails and corresponding with our brides before the wedding day but last week it was nice to receive a note from a groom:
Hey Brian, this is Ryan Hughes, I am the groom in the wedding this Saturday. I know that you have spoken with Paula and Mrs. Gulling but I just wanted to say that we are very excited to have you share in our special day. Paula and I absolutely loved the videos that we have seen from you and we are looking forward to working with you. Thanks again and we will see you soon.

Don & Heather's Same Day Edit

We've been looking forward to Heather's wedding ever since we filmed her sister Jill's wedding four years ago. Heather emailed us in February to check on our availability before deciding on a date and we have been counting down the days with her. During the last four years we've developed a friendship with the Schieda family, getting together with them on occasion for meals and great conversation. They are truly one of the nicest families you will ever meet. If you spend any time with them at all, you'll be blessed with great friendships for the rest of your life. Don is a perfect addition to the family and we look forward to getting to know him better.
Heather is an audiologist at Physician Hearing Centers. After Jill's wedding she fitted us for custom earplugs to protect our hearing from all the loud music at the receptions. We think about her every weekend when all the noise becomes magically quieter.
Heather had us put together a photo montage that was going to play throughout the cocktail hour. They also wanted to play the montage on the big screen during the reception. Susy and I decided that our gift to Heather & Don would be a Same Day Edit.
Doing a SDE for Don & Heather looked out well since two of the groomsmen's wives could not make the wedding. They are both expecting any day. Don joked during his toast that he hoped they didn't get a call since they would have to drive back to Canada. This way they can take part in the day (even if it is a day later).
