Alex & Neeti's Same Day Edit
December 11th, 2011
What a great way to end the 2011 wedding season. Working with perfect professionals including Neil Leeson, Amy Hissa, Dan & April from ZMedia, and The Avenue. Working at a great location, Signature of Solon, that took excellent care of us. And best of all working with an awesome couple, Alex & Neeti.
Dan and I had a great time hanging out with Alex while he was getting ready. He will soon be on 'Millionaire' probably airing this week. The first thing Susy said after filming the Getting Ready, "Neeti's family is awesome!"
Neeti contacted me a few weeks ago and said, "We would like to use the Same Day Edit a little differently." After discussing it we decided to have it play in the background while everyone was enjoying the reception dancing, having dessert, and visiting the martini luge. This first video shows a few shots of the how we used it. It worked wonderfully.
And now the Same Day Edit!
Klicky & Katie's Same Day Edit
September 3rd, 2011
In all the Same Day Edits that we have produced and shown at receptions, we have never had a technical problem... until last night. Fortunately Klicky (Steve) and Katie, were one of the most easy going couples we have worked with this year.
One of Kilcky's best men lives right up the street from us and Katie took that as a sign that hiring us was meant to be. She was so excited about the Same Day Edit and (when I finally worked out the bugs) she was not disappointed.
Reggie & Tammy's Same Day Edit
July 31st, 2011
Yesterday was a first for us. Upon arrival at The Bertram Inn, the lights were out. In fact, the whole area did not have electric. So what do you do when your ceremony is coming up in 2 1/2 hours and there is no power? You keep getting ready and you pray! That is exactly what Tammy and Reggie were doing yesterday. It was definitely one of the many things that will make there big day memorable.
Taylor & Kari's Same Day Edit
May 29th, 2011
It has been six months (almost exactly) since our last Same Day Edit and yesterday I could tell I was a little rusty. Even though Taylor and Kari had more than enough time between the ceremony and debut of the SDE, I used every available minute. Another 'problem' was that we had so much great footage. Susy went out on the golf course with Terry Horner and got some really great shots. When I saw the wide shot of the golf cart pulling up to the bridge I knew I had to use that one. There was just something quirky about it. When it came up on the big screen the crowd erupted into laughter. That made me smile.
Thank you Taylor and Kari for being a wonderful couple and so easy to work with. Good luck in your future. By the way Taylor, Susy has been putting money into her IRA since she was in high school. When your brother said that last night, Susy and I glanced at each other and smiled!
Ryan & Ashley's Wedding
March 31st, 2011
It is always nice to finish the year on a high note! And what better place to ring in the New Year than the House of Blues in Cleveland. Even though we were working, we got to spend the day with a great couple and with Jamie Jansen Photo and Jay R from Selective Sound, both of whom are friends.
I knew that Ryan and Ashley's wedding was going to be unique because of the location and the day. While filming throughout the day, I kept saying to myself, "This is going to be a great video!" I am happy to say, I was right!
