We have two big announcements to share with you. 2008 is going to be a great year for us and for you.

First of all, yesterday we updated our site with our new packages. Over the years we have changed our packages to reflect what we thought you were looking for. This time I really think we have hit the nail on the head with the Bride’s Favorite package. It comes with 10 hours and 4 locations, a perfect amount to not only cover the wedding day but to capture all the best moments of your big day. Of course that includes both Susy and I shooting for those 10 hours. It also includes 5 copies of the finished DVD and the streaming media package where we host your video for 60 days on our site so you can easily share your video with your family and friends.

The thing that make this package the best the we have ever offered is that you then get to choose one of our popular options at no additional charge. These options include: a Same Day Edit, a Full Ceremony Add-on, a Photo Montage, two hours of additional coverage, or…. wait for it… a high-definition (HD) upgrade (more on that in a minute).

This is truly an awesome package. What makes it even better is the price. $2495. That is $200 off last year’s Bride’s Favorite package.

Now on the the second big announcement. After 3 years of research and waiting for the right mix of cameras, software, and hardware, we are proud to announce that we are going to be purchasing HD cameras for the 2008 wedding season. There will be a series of blog posts forth coming explaining the benefits of HD and why you should have your wedding day captured in this format.

I just have to say, I have been amazed at the images that these new cameras can produce. I am most excited about the wide-screen format. Many of our couples have said that when they watched there video, they felt like they were watching a movie where they were the stars. With the wide-screen format, your video will look even more movie like.

Finally on to the best part of these two announcements. If you are currently booked with us, and you are interested in upgrading to the new Bride’s Favorite package, we are going to give you the HD upgrade for FREE!!!! That means that you get all the benefits of the new package, the HD upgrade, and you still get to pick another option.
